Iran’s Institute for International Energy Studies (IIES) is planning to host a specialized course with Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) on oil and gas topics.
The course “Conservation and revitalization of the environment in oil fields” will discuss topics like introduction of the EU’s environmental regulations in the oil industry, how to revitalize land and restore stability to drilling and oil and gas extraction sites to improve ecosystem performance, identification of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies of Polish oil companies with focus on protecting the environment close to oil facilities, improving environmental practices through the elimination of soil pollution and water around oil installations from oil pollution and heavy metals, contaminated site management, industrial wastewater, etc.
Robert Dowlinski is a lecturer at the University of Warsaw who is responsible for the implementation of projects involving GaAs, SiC, and metal nitrite semiconductors. The Polish teacher has been managing the Technology Transfer Center of the University of Warsaw since 2015.
Another course that the Institute for International Energy Studies is holding is entitled as “Investing in the energy sector with an emphasis on oil and gas resources”. The course is aimed at examining European policies in the energy sector, foreign investment in the oil, gas, refining and petrochemical industries, and investment strategies and R&D activities in oil companies.
The courses will be held at the premises of the IIES, Tehran, on February 1.
