An Iran-United States dual citizen was found guilty on Tuesday of trying help acquire surface-to-air missiles and aircraft components for the government of Iran, in violation of U.S. sanctions.
Reza Olangian, aged 56, was convicted on all four counts he faced, including conspiring to acquire and transfer anti-aircraft missiles.
Olangian will be sentenced on 13th March, and faces a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 25 years and a maximum of life, according to Reuters.
His lawyer says he plans to appeal.
