Law firm Dentons has entered the Iranian market through a tie-up between Dentons Europe LLP and Tehran-based Arman Pirouzan Parvine Legal Institute (APP).
The new venture will offer expertise on corporate, infrastructure, regulatory, capital markets, employment and litigation matters.
APP’s team of 10 Iranian lawyers is led by Iran- and US-qualified partner, Navid Rahbar-Sato, according to a report from the Law Society Gazette.
Pirouzan Parvine, head of Dentons Europe’s Iran practice, said:
“While our Iran team has been serving clients successfully ever since sanctions were changed, we now want to build momentum by establishing a closer relationship with a top-quality firm in Tehran to respond to increasing client demand.
‘Our cooperation with APP aims to ensure the same quality service in Iran which our clients have come to expect from Dentons around the world.“
Earlier this year, international firm CMS announced that it had become the first major international practice to open a dedicated office in Iran since the 1979 revolution.
