A British specialist consulting firm is expanding its footprint in Iran following a new partnership, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Kaabis, which consults across Iran’s oil and gas, aviation and finance sectors and helps UK and EU companies to develop business opportunities across the Middle East, has agreed a partnership with leading Iranian oil and gas engineering company, Abtin Ista Technical Co.
This will boost Kaabis’ resources in the country by 10 staff, helping the company to increase its reach throughout Iran.
The company was launched in March by Stephen Chandler and Foad Kaabipour as Iran emerged from sanctions.
It specialises in four key sectors within the region: oil and gas, aviation and infrastructure development being key opportunities in Iran along with Azerbaijan and Iraq.
Tourism in Iran will also add another opportunity for economic growth in the region.
“It’s an exciting time in Iran and the country is ripe for investment and growth after the trade sanctions were lifted.
“We are currently working with Iranian manufacturing companies in the oil and gas sector in the procurement of engineering goods from the UK.
“Iran needs an investment spend of $50bn to bring its oil and gas industry up to pre-sanction production levels and an aviation sector that requires 50 new aircrafts each year for the next 10 years.
“Iran is a considerable export market.
“The middle eastern markets of Iran and even neighbouring Azerbaijan, and Iraq are sophisticated business environments.”
