Iran and Croatia signed an agreement and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Tehran on Wednesday morning, after a high-profile meeting attended by the two countries’ presidents.
The documents were signed at a ceremony with the participation of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his Croatian counterpart Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.
They include an agreement on Tehran-Zagreb economic cooperation and an MoU on partnership between Iran and Croatia’s chambers of commerce.
The Croatian president arrived in Tehran on Tuesday evening for a three-day official visit. She was greeted by President Rouhani at a formal welcome ceremony on Wednesday morning.
The trip by Grabar-Kitarovic and her accompanying delegation is aimed at enhancement of economic cooperation between the two nations.
