Tehran and Seoul will hold working level talks in the Iranian capital next week in a bid to exchange views on the promotion of economic ties between the two nations, a report said.
According to a report from Yonhap, the fourth round of director-general level talks between the two countries will take place next Wednesday.
In January, South Korea’s finance ministry described Iran as a “bonus” to the East Asian country’s economy, adding that a business center had been opened in Seoul to support local firms’ exports to Iran.
“The Iranian market will be a bonus to the South Korean economy when our companies make good use of it,” Choi Sang-mok said.
