Iran Khodro Kermanshah Launched

As the next speaker, Mohammadreza Nematzadeh, Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade declared, “We have observed 20% production growth in automobile industry in the past four months compared to the same period last year and we predict the production target of 3 million cars will be achieved within a few years.

“The current production capacity of the site is 60 sets per day with Peugeot Pars rolling out the line in one working shift, but the capacity will gradually increase,” said the Minister.

Given IKCO investment of 570 billion rials for launching this car production site, Iran Khodro Kermanshah CEO asserted, “In the first phase, an annual production capacity of 15,000 cars per a shift is predicted and this can result in 330 direct employments, should the capacity boost to 30,000 sets per year.

Located in a 30-hectare ground in Sahneh Industrial city, Iran Khodro Kermanshah products meet required quality standards, and can be exported to regional markets, especially Iraq.
