PNOC inks MoU to Study Iran Oilfields

The Philippines, through the Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC), a government-owned and controlled corporation, signed a document on Monday to carry out studies on oilfields in Iran.

PNOC’s exploration offshoot cemented a memorandum of understanding with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) to carry out studies over Pazanan and Darkhowin oilfields in Iran.

During the ceremony to ink the deal, PNOC EC managing director said signing the document was a major event in the company’s history.
