Iran and France have signed five agreements at the end of a business forum hosted by the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA).
The Memorandums of Understanding (MoU’s) included a cooperation document for development of Mashhad International Airport, two involving the Iranian Fisheries Organization, one for the construction of a bioethanol factory in Kermanshah, and another for sturgeon farming technology transfer.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault was visiting Iran accompanied by 100 delegates including top officials from companies such as Airbus, Alstom, and Total, as well as several representatives from French companies active in metallurgy, construction, banking, information technology (IT), and the steel industry. Some 250 Iranian entrepreneurs also took part in the forum.
