British Airways to Pay $13m Iran Debt

By John Lee.

Aviation Iran reports that British Airways will pay a $13-million debt to the Iran Airport Holding Company (IAC).

Mohammadreza Emami, vice president of IAC, told Mehr News Agency that foreign airlines operating in Iran have a good record of paying their charges, and only a few have debts to IAC.

BA had reportedly accumulated a debt of $13,370,000, which must be repaid within one month, or it must suspend some or all of its daily flights on the London-to-Tehran route.
