Iran and Kazakhstan have agreed on plans to set up eight renewable energy projects in southern Kazakhstan, according to Trade Arabia.
The projects include a photovoltaic power station (also known as a solar park), reported Iran Daily News, citing Kazakhstan’s Minister of Investments and Development.
The agreement will focus on key areas of customs, banking, agriculture, water management, transportation, communication, petrochemicals, tourism, health, cooperative, science, technology and mines, stated Zhenis Kassymbek after signing the agreement with Iran’s Minister of Agricultural Jihad Mahmoud Hojjati at a recent joint economic committee meeting in Tehran.
