Iran to Cooperate with Hungary in Oil, Gas Trade

The Minister of Economy and Finance, Ali Tayebnia, says Iran can cooperate with Hungary in oil and gas trade.

Tayebnia made the remark in a meeting with Hungarian National Assembly Speaker László Kövér in Tehran this week.

Referring to vast potential of Iran and Hungary for cooperation, the minister said Iran and Hungary can embark on joint investment in production of petrochemicals as well.

Kövér for his part said Hungarian oil company had entered a contract with National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) for purchase of 140,000 tons of oil and said success in the field is not political in nature.
