Iran’s Chamber of Cooperatives (ICC) and Turkey’s Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association (MUSIAD) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop mutual cooperation.
The MoU was signed during a recent ceremony in Istanbul attended by Bahman Abdollahi, the head of ICC, and MUSIAD Chairman Nail Olpak.
“Ankara intends to implement all trade and economic agreements it has signed with Tehran,” Olpak said during the signing ceremony.
Back in April, Iran and Turkey signed eight MoUs to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various areas.
The cooperation documents were signed in a ceremony in Ankara on April 16, attended by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyib Erdogan.
The documents covered a range of spheres, including higher education, social security, plant maintenance services and standardization.
