Luxembourg’s Economy Minister Etienne Schneider arrived in Tehran early on Monday to hold talks with senior Iranian officials.
Heading a high-ranking economic delegation, Schneider is scheduled to sit down with Iranian business leaders active in the field of ICT during his three-day visit to the Iranian capital, Luxemburger Wort website reported on Monday.
The Luxembourgian minister is accompanied by a Chamber of Commerce business delegation comprised of 40 representatives from Luxembourg companies.
Upon his arrival, Schneider held a meeting with Iran’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Ali Tayebnia during which both sides discussed ways for enhancing economic ties between the two nations.
