Iran Signs NDAs with Foreign Oil Firms

By John Lee.

Iran has signed non-disclosure agreements with three foreign oil firms to develop the South Azadegan joint oil field.

Gholamreza Manouchehri, deputy CEO of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), said the agreements were signed with Japan’s Inpex, China’s CNPC, and France’s Total.

“I cannot precisely point out that which fields will be assigned to foreign companies till the end of the year and it totally depends on how we are going to progress in this.” Manouchehri stated.
