OCSSPI reports 141% Sales Increase

Over the past three years, the Organization for Collection and Sale of State-owned Properties of Iran (OCSSPI) sold “movable and immovable properties” worth 10,835 billion riyals ($350 million), an increase of 141 percent compared to the previous three years.

In the first 5 months of this year, total sales of movable and immovable properties were 1,067 billion riyals, which increased 140 percent compared to the same period last year.

During the same period, the value of destroyed properties was 305 billion riyals, a 187 percent increase.

Most items destroyed were perishable goods such as beans, grains and food, drinks, fruit and certain goods including illegal cosmetics, medicines, metal, mineral and chemical materials, textiles, used cloths.
