Increase Tariffs hit BAT Iran Profits

In its latest Half-Year Report, British American Tobacco (BAT) has said that sales volume has increased in Iran for the first six months of the year, but profit fell due to an increase in excise duty.

The company makes and sells cigarette brands including Kent, Dunhill, Pall Mall, and Rothmans.
