Georgia Restores Visa-Free Travel with Iran

Georgia is to restore visa-free travel with Iran from Monday 15th February.

The announcement was made during a meeting on Tuesday between Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister, David Jalagania, and Iran’s Ambassador in Tbilisi, Abbas Talebifar.

Under the new regime, Iranian citizens will be able to stay in Georgia without applying for a visa for 45 days from the date of their arrival in the country.
