Azerbaijan has introduced a temporary restriction on the import of livestock and livestock products from Iran.
According to the report from Financial Tribune Daily, the ban follows an outbreak of foot and mouth disease in the Iranian province of Qom.
“The import of animals and animal products from the provinces of Qom, Arak, Kashan and Tehran were temporarily restricted,” Azerbaijan’s State Service of Veterinary Supervision announced.
