Oman, Iran to Establish Joint Investment Fund

An Iranian delegation led by the head of the Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) visited Oman’s Capital Market Authority (CMA) and held several meetings with Omani senior officials of the capital market to establish a joint investment fund.

This fund will be a joint venture and Feeder Fund which invests in the Master Fund in Iran.

Feeder funds are secondary investment funds that invest in master funds.

This Master Fund invests primarily in the Iranian capital market products especially state sukuk.

During the meeting, Iran and Oman agreed to increase their cooperation in various areas including the development of Islamic financial instruments and the improvement of the regulatory and legal systems.

    When this fund will be created and When this will available for investment ?

    Please create this fund at the earliest. Stocks prices are rising in TSE.
