Arak Reactor Redesign to Take 5 Years

A spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has said the redesign of the Arak heavy reactor will take 5 years.

Behrouz Kamalvandi told ISNA that the roadmap phase may last for 2-3 months and “then we will enter the hard phase.”

He noted that representatives of P5+1 countries as well as the EU representative signed the deal on behalf of 28 countries and they vowed to cooperate with Iran in different phases.
